Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released recruitment notification for 4366 PRT teaching post.

☛How many vacancies are there?

The Total number of vacancies are 4366.

☛When will be the online registration started?

Opening Date Of Application: 02.07.2018

Closing Date For Application: 30.07.2018

Note:- Candidates who have already applied for the post code 16/17 w.e.f. 25/8/2017 to 15/9/2017 need not apply again, they would be given One time age relaxation upto the new cut off date.

☛What is the educational qualification required for PRT post in DSSSB Recruitment process?

(i) Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized board / institution.

(ii) Two year’s Diploma / Certificate Course / in Elementary Teacher Education Course/ Junior Basic Training or equivalent or bachelor of elementary education from a recognized institution.

(iii) Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary level.

(iv) Must have passed English as a subject at secondary or senior secondary level.

(v) Candidates must have qualified CTET.

☛What are the Age Limit for DSSSB Teacher:

Maximum Age Limit for PRT Teacher: 30 years

Contract Teachers of MCD:- One Time relaxation of age to all the Contract Teachers (Primary) who are presently engaged by the unified corporation North, South & East DMCs shall be given. This relaxation shall be for as many number of years as the contract Teacher has rendered services with the DMCs subject to the maximum of 5 (Five) years. Only those years in which more than 120 days services in each year has been rendered shall be counted.

☛When will be the exam conducted?

The date of holding the examination as is not mentioned in the notification. For latest update regarding DSSSB, stay tuned with CTETadda.

☛What is the mode of selection?
 The selection shall be made through One Tier examination scheme.

☛What is the application Fee?

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/-

Note: Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Physically Handicapped & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the Application fee.

☛ Is the exam Bilingual?

The Examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Language papers which would be in the language concerned only.

☛Is there a criterion for negative marking?

There is negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

☛ What is the Final Selection / Merit :

The Board will shortlist the candidates for written examination on the basis of marks in qualifying exam (as per essential qualification given in RRs) in case there are a large number of candidates.
